We’ve been quiet on the blogging front recently as there has been much happening ‘behind the scenes’ and the blog has had to go on the back burner. We’ve been busy putting the finishing touches to the 2012 diary which is actually a gargantuan job and we all heave a sigh of relief when we can finally wave it on its way to the printers! Just a quick reminder, too, that if you want to pre-order the 2012 diary you only have a couple of weeks left to do so! You’ll get the diary for a reduced price and will be helping us to raise funds towards the printing costs. If you are interested see our pre-order page on the website
So to make up for the lack of visual feasts on the blog recently I thought I’d share some images of the most superb rhododendron flowers at the Westonbirt Arboretum. We visited at the weekend and it was truely glorious. If you are local to Gloucestershire it’s certainly worth a visit ( and the chocolate fudge brownie at the cafe tastes as good as the flowers look) (if you get my drift……)

What a heroine….this week’s Earth Pathways prize must go to our very own Tam Peirson for being so utterly tenacious and determined in the face of so much white stuff.
She has battled up her track, donned skis, ridden sheep bareback, fashioned snow boots out of birch bark….and all to get those last Earth Pathways diaries sent out to you in time for Christmas! So from the rest of the team – THANKS TAM, YOU ARE A STAR!!! We really appreciate it XXXXX
Here’s a little sketch from Suzi for you Tam…

Keep up the great work sister!!

Hi folks, I’m Suzi and I love being part of the Earth Pathways Team. I help with distribution of our fabulous publication, and try to get the word about the dairy out to as many people as possible. At the moment I’m also working on ideas to raise money for our seed fund – more about that coming soon. I hope that I bring laughter, positivity and ideas to our team. I feel so blessed to be part of this wonderful project, and to work with the amazing and inspiring people who help to produce Earth Pathways.
I live and work in London, although I think I would describe myself as feral – city dwelling (for now) but still very much untamed. . . . I’m an artist and tattooist and I have cards and prints for sale at www.slipperyjacks.com. The photo I’ve included was taken on our narrowboat. Me sat my the fire with a cuppa – note the ‘Ace Cafe’ mug, I’m a bit of a biker too!
My ten words to describe myself are: beekeeper, riverwoman, biker, vegetarian, ritual tattooist, knitter, tree hugger, protester.

Hello, I’m Debs, I’m one of the Earth Pathways Diary bunch. I’ve had my arm bent hard behind my back I’m absolutely delighted to write this little piece telling you a bit about me and my role in the Earth Pathways Diary. I do various jobs for the diary; I help with the website (which I know needs some updating – reasons for my slackness in that department coming up later!!!), I deal with the PayPal orders, I input lots of juicy information into the database, I attempt to grapple with the numbers and figures which involves taking my socks off and using my toes to count with, I hinder Jaine while she does a spectacularly good job of sorting out the contribution words and images, and I pretend to be listening at meetings while really eyeing up the ‘biskits’ and ‘choklate’ that appear in copious quantities at these shindigs. The diary could easily cope without my presence but I like to think I bring an element of chaos and disorder to the whole shebang which balances the calm, organised, peaceful harmony which is our trademark stance on life.
